Seeing triple

I told Josiah the other day that I now have two eyes and six lenses.  He corrected me.  “No, Mom, you now have FOUR eyes and six lenses.  You forgot about the eyes in the back of your head.”  True, but thankfully those eyes are single vision and uncorrected.

I am pleased as punch to announce that I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my new lined trifocals.  For the first time in a long time, I can put them on in the morning and leave them on all day.  What a novel concept!  Yes, I do do a lot of head bobbing to line up things in the right lenses, but I can see clearly!!!

I can read.  I can use my computer.  I can play the piano.  I can drive.  I can even look at books on a shelf – and read the titles! Wow!  Furthermore, nothing nauseates me by oozing into wildly different shapes and sizes.  Everything looks just the way it really is, and if it’s blurry in one place, I can bob or turn my head and find a place where it’s clear.  I think that’s the most wonderful aspect of these glasses:  all three distances are actually crsiply focused.  The only possible improvement would be if my eyes could somehow produce that clarity all on their own.

Praise God, thank you Pearle Vision, and my vision remain unchanged for a good long while!
